DMCA & Copyright Policy
Streamova.uk respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright owners. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the UK Intellectual Property Office standards.
1. Our Role as a Technical Service Provider
Streamova.uk operates as a technical interface and directory.
- We do not host, store, or archive media files or streams on our own servers.
- Our platform acts as a conduit or index of digital content already available on the internet.
- Because we do not control the source of the third-party streams, we rely on copyright owners to notify us of specific links within our interface that should be removed.
2. Notification of Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an authorised agent thereof and believe that any content indexed through Streamova.uk infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent.
To be effective, your “Notice of Alleged Infringement” must include the following:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the work being infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
- Identification of the infringing material: The specific URL, M3U entry, or exact location within our service where the material is found. Please note that general channel names are often insufficient for technical removal.
- Contact Information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Statement of Good Faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of Accuracy: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner.
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the authorised person.
3. Designated Copyright Agent
Please deliver your formal DMCA notice to:
- Attn: Legal Department – Copyright Claims
- Email: support@Streamova.uk
- Subject Line: DMCA / Copyright Takedown Request
Note: Please ensure all notices are sent to this email address. Inquiries sent via general WhatsApp support may experience delays.
4. Counter-Notification Procedures
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a Counter-Notice. According to the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, we may restore access if a valid counter-notification is received.
The Counter-Notice must include:
- Your signature and contact information.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and its prior location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy, Streamova.uk maintains a “repeat infringer” policy. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users or technical contributors who are found to be repeatedly involved in copyright infringement activities.
6. Liability and Misrepresentation
Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. If you are unsure whether the material you are reporting is infringing, we recommend contacting a legal professional first. For broader international copyright standards, you may refer to the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
